Goodbye Giraffe

The killing of Marius was a controversial decision that was condemned across the globe.

At the Copenhagen Zoo's twitter, threats are being made after a young healthy giraffe was shot in the head while eating his favorite snack-rye bread. The 18-month-old giraffe, named Marius, was killed because he was one of the surplus giraffes in the zoo. Then, in front of children, they preformed an autopsy on it and fed it to the lions, claiming that they want the public to know how autopsies are done, one of the jobs of the zoo's vet. What I want to know is instead of scarring kids for life, why couldn't they have sent it to Africa or to a different zoo instead of slaughtering it?

  1. That is disgusting they should not have done that those kids will be scared for life and they should have sent it to Africa.

  2. You are SO right! That is terrible. I can't believe a zoo would do such a thing!
